Located a half hour’s drive north of Tampa, is the superb Saddlebrook Resort. This is a quality venue and without doubt one of the most popular golf resorts in the city.

There are many reasons to choose Saddlebrook Resort for a cheap Florida golf package. Primary amongst these is the number of activities onsite. 

There are an astonishing 43 tennis courts, a number of pickleball courts, a fitness center, multiple pools including a huge outdoor one, and so much more to enjoy.

Clearly golf plays a major part in the activities and there are two fantastic championship golf courses to choose from. Both picturesque courses were designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer.

Orlando is one of the most popular tourist destinations worldwide. Disney, Epcot, SeaWorld, Harry Potter land…the list goes on. 

But it is also a huge golf destination in its own right. For example, there are plenty of great golf resorts to choose from south of the city. 

Yet what I’m seeing more and more are groups choosing to stay in villas or self-catering homes. These tend to be somewhere central close to restaurants and bars and close to the majority of local golf courses.
